Since its birth in the 1990s, MMA (for mixed martial arts) has had a reputation for ultraviolence. An extreme discipline, that French Sports Minister Roxana Maracineanu decided to legalize earlier this year.

A considerable advance for the 30,000 to 50,000 French practitioners, which marks the victory of Bertrand Amoussou, former European judo champion and pioneer defender of this decathlon of combat sports.
